WINTER DRESS

Please remember to send outdoor gear every day, unless it’s very obvious that the temperature,
including wind chill temperature, is 10 degrees or below. Some days we get calls asking whether the kids will be going outside or not. We recommend that you get in the habit of bringing the outdoor gear everyday because the weather may improve by the end of the session and we’d like to take the kids outside as often as the weather (and our classroom time) permits. It works best to pack the outdoor clothes in a separate plastic bag. As mentioned in the December Footnotes, we teach the children the order to get dressed. Mittens go on last so they can manipulate their other clothing items independently.
