Children’s Country is licensed by the state of Minnesota. We are a ‘hands on’ preschool where parents and early childhood educators work together in a non-denominational Christian environment to help the children begin the journey of growing and developing into joyful, confident, and independent people.
We encourage and stimulate emotional, spiritual, and intellectual growth, as well as creativity through our carefully planned curriculum. Time is given to listen to your child as he/she expresses himself/herself verbally, physically, and through the joy of pretending.
At Children’s Country Preschool each child has approximately 3 helping parent days where the parent or special adult of that child will come in and help for that day as well as provide snack for the class. One of the helping days will be on or near the child’s birthday or half birthday if the child’s birthday falls in the summer months.
About half of our preschoolers come from the St. Michael/Albertville area and the other half from Hanover/Corcoran/Greenfield/Rogers area.
Children’s Country Preschool offers:
Seven different sessions of classes. Three different age groups:
• A Young 3’s class. Friday mornings for those just under 3 to just over 3.
• Three different multi-age sessions. 3 & 4 year olds not going to kindergarten the following year.
• Three Pre-kindergarten sessions. For those eligible for kindergarten the following year.
Parent/Teacher Conferences twice a year.
Carefully planned curriculum ~ Curriculum is planned by the teachers and Director making sure that all parts of the child are developed. Everything we do has a reason behind it. We follow sound early childhood practices as well as keeping up with new early childhood research.
Three teachers for all multi-age and pre-k classes. The Young 3’s class has fewer children therefore we have two teachers.
Helping Parent days ~ A special time for the preschoolers to show their class to mom or dad and bring the snack for the day!
