Tuition Assistance

We look forward to reviewing your application.

-Sue Duley

The expense of preschool can stress a family’s budget.

Our goal is to provide a program to help eligible families reduce the economic strain through our Tuition Assistance Program. We continue to strive to keep our tuition as low as possible while still providing a quality preschool experience for both parent and child.

A majority of our tuition assistance funds come from our community and the congregation of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Applying for Tuition Assistance

  1. Print and complete a Tuition Assistance Application Form for each child. Tuition assistance applications are reviewed for registered students only.
  2. Send a copy of your most recent federal income tax form. Applications will not be considered without this documentation. All information and documentation is kept strictly confidential.
  3. Our tuition assistance committee and the Director will review all applications and will notify all applicants of their decisions.
  4. Return the signed Tuition Assistance Agreement to Children’s Country Preschool to accept assistance. Tuition assistance participants will be required to volunteer at least 4 hours during or prior to the school year (i.e. cleaning the school rooms or playgrounds before school starts, volunteer a shift at Hanover Harvest Fest and/or Spaghetti supper). The director will notify you of opportunities.
  5. More details.

Fund Limitations: Our financial assistance fund is limited and while all requests are considered we cannot guarantee that all applicants will receive assistance. The Tuition Assistance Committee bases its decisions on the number of requests, individual family circumstances and the availability of funds.

Assistance Amount: The assistance amount will be between 25% or 50% of the tuition amount. The maximum assistance given will be 50% of the cost of either a one day or a two day program. You may still participate in a three day program but will need to pay the difference.

Agreement: Applicants who are approved for assistance will receive the Tuition Assistance Agreement detailing the eligibility requirements for all tuition assistance payments. Following receipt of the agreement, applicants may accept or reject the assistance. To accept the assistance, sign and return the agreement to Children’s Country Preschool. Any offer for assistance that is not accepted by returning the signed Tuition Assistance Agreement to Children’s Country Preschool by July 30th will be considered a rejected offer. Tuition assistance participants will be required to volunteer at least 4 hours during or prior to the school year (i.e. cleaning the school rooms or playgrounds before school starts; Hanover Harvest Fest and/or Spaghetti supper). The director will notify you of opportunities.

Late Applications: Assistance applications submitted after May 30th will be considered if funds are available. However, families currently enrolled who experience a financial hardship during the school year may request financial assistance at any time. The Tuition Assistance Committee and Director will consider these applications at that time.
